Ever wonder if you're the only one having a bad day? Or maybe the whole world seems annoyingly chipper this morning? Now, utilizing the amazing power of the Internet, you have an ultra-scientific way of proving it.

I don't get it.

22-Mar-06: Holy horseshoes Batman! In only the second full day that this site was up, it pulled in 136,000 hits (4,435 votes), accounting for over 780 MB of traffic. Unfortunately, I've also noticed some people have hot-linked the big smiley image instead of using the blog button. Since the big image is about 13x larger, I had to implement some lame counter-measures, lest I get smacked with even larger bandwidth bills. Please let me know if this causes any problems for any visitors out there.

I'm also pleasantly surprised at the number of international visitors. Knowing that, it really pains me that the concept of a "day" is limited to EST when there are 38 other time zones in the world. If the site's popularity continues to grow, I will re-architect it to support the global audience. So... stay tuned!
